A nice little spooky story

This short story reminded me of a movie called "Let me in," which is also about the friendship between a young boy and a weird, spooky girl. Basically, if you enjoyed that movie, you should enjoy this short story as well.
The story is well-crafted and, while not always grammatically-perfect, it makes for a very entertaining read.
Definitely recommended!

BEK, about a girl with black eyes who visits a boy (the narrator) who is in elementary school, belongs more to a free discussion board on than as a book for sale on Amazon, and is in sore need of editing. Even at .99, it's overpriced for the poor quality of this story (luckily I picked it up during a free Amazon.com promotion).
BEK is presented as a horror story, but is not scary in the remotest sense of the word. It also isn't clear if the girl is one of the Black Eyed Kids, or is just an odd homeless girl going around to different houses to get food. The author is repetitive-often going back and rehashing the same scenes throughout the story-has a poor grasp of grammar and sentence structure, and in a few instances, leans toward racism.
It would appear as though BEK was written by a young teen or pre-teen who has spent too much time hanging out on a Creepypasta message board, but the final passage of the story, concerning a question of what is good and evil and an inclusion of Bible verses from the Gospel of Matthew, is written in a different voice, leading me to believe that BEK was written for hire on Fiver, with the Bible verses added in by someone attempting to preach to a pre-teen or young teen audience.
